| "The
Lodge," as we call it, is located at Lake Tahoe's Southshore,
six miles from the State line casinos. This newly remodeled, private
home is a bit of "old Tahoe" built in the 1950's of
knotty pine and granite. The fireplace, in the warm, comfortable
living room, is eight feet wide and reminds one of the hunting
lodges of yesteryear. There are three bedrooms and two baths in
the main house, and in the garden there are two darling cottages
complete with bath and kitchens. With the sofabed there is sleeping
space for 12.

| The part of "The
Lodge at Cave Rock" most enjoyed by our guests is hte magnificant
180 degree views from the 40 feet of windows in the great room.
Nothing but Lake Tahoe - it's deep blue water, super sunsets and
an exceptional panorama of the crest of the mighty Sierra Nevada.
On second thought they might enjoy the cascade of decks and strairways,
down past the hot tub and garden to the lakeside patio. Then a
few steps more to the waters edge for a swim or a boat ride.
